EXPERIMENTAL PLANT
As part of a project carried out under the Innovative Economy Operational Programme, Measure 5.1, an innovative Experimental Plant for the production of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals and biomedical preparations has been established in the Wrocław Technology Park.
The Experimental Plant is equipped with the best state-of-the-art equipment allowing pilot production of innovative nutraceuticals.
The plant is an axis for technology transfers occurring between cluster members and the academic environment, which is one of the main objectives of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster. Five manufacturing methods developed within the cluster have been introduced in the line so far:
- Manufacture of phospholipids using chemical extraction;
- Manufacture of phospholipids using supercritical extraction;
- Manufacture of an antimicrobial formulation enriched with lysozyme;
- Manufacture of calcium formulations
- Manufacture of β-glucan, insoluble dietary fibre and oat proteins
All the members of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster have the right to use the line.
